The unidentified club, who, judging by the league table, are Sporting Gijon, have turned to an organisation called Yamvi Sports to look for new talent, and Richie O’Dare, their operations manager, has turned to the website to look for new talent.

Their demands are specific, looking for players with a European passport who play as playmakers.

While they are hoping to get a player like Barcelona’s Xavi or former Manchester United target Toni Kroos, it seems unlikely that they will be able to tempt a player of that calibre with an offer of €1,300 a month.

There also cannot be a transfer fee involved, and the talent has to be younger than 25 years old.

The club are desperate for the two new players, and need them to be able to join them in the next six days.

Spanish Side Enquire About Availability Of Arsenal Forward – reports

Real Sociedad have made an enquiry about the availability of Arsenal forward Joel Campbell, according to Spanish outlet fichajes.net.

The Costa Rica international returned from the World Cup expecting to play far more football this season, having spent last season on loan with Olympiacos, but has struggled to make an impression at the Emirates Stadium.

He featured in the game against Hull City in the FA Cup on Sunday, which the Gunners won 2-0, but had to be withdrawn early after suffering from cramp.

Campbell has been identified by Sociedad manager David Moyes, formerly of Manchester United and Everton, as the sort of player he needs to bring in to boost his side during the January transfer window.

Moyes and Sociedad managed a famous result on Sunday as they beat Barcelona 1-0 at San Sebastian.

Part of any deal may be contingent on Arsenal securing Campbell to fresh terms, with his current deal set to expire in June 2016.

PSG To Challenge Chelsea For £200m Messi – reports

Paris Saint Germain are set to challenge Chelsea for the signature of Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, as reported by French newspaper L’Equipe.

Messi is reportedly unsettled at Barca, and several clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in signing him along with PSG, including the Stamford Bridge side.

Roman Abramovich reportedly set up a plan in recent days to bring Messi to the club in 2015, and he is willing to spend a staggering £200 million to make the move happen.

It will not be plain sailing for the Blues, however, especially with the interest expressed by the Ligue 1 side.

PSG are one of few clubs who can offer the same sort of financial package to Messi as the west London side, as they are owned by an arm of the Qatari government.

Barca lost to David Moyes’ Real Sociedad side this weekend, falling to a 1-0 loss, and Messi was reported to be unhappy with the result.
