Man Utd Given Boost As Club Willing To Sell £40M Dynamic Target – reports

Manchester United have been given a huge boost in their long running chase for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, after it was revealed that the Serie A side no longer believe Vidal to be indispensable, as reported by the Daily Express.

The Old Trafford club have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Chilean international.

Vidal is considered one of the best midfielders in European football today, and was often thought to be the ideal solution to Man Utd’s long standing problems in the centre of the park.

A move failed to go through in the summer, with the serial Serie A winners not keen on losing one of their star players.

They told the Manchester side that the player was not available at any price.

However, Man Utd are expected to reignite their interest in January, and it seems as though Juve’s perspective has changed.

The Italian side are willing to sell him now, having lost patience with Vidal.

He was fined £80,000 after showing up late for training, having been at a nightclub the night before.

However, they want £40 million from the Red Devils to secure the transfer.

Man Utd To Make £52M January Move For Midfield Star – reports

Manchester United are reportedly ready to push forward their chase for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, with the club intending to make a staggering £52 million bid for the Chilean international, as reported by the Daily Star.

Reports suggest that the club’s hierarchy have not given up on the repeatedly targeted midfielder, despite having chased him all summer to no avail.

Despite their series of signings, Man Utd clearly still see Vidal as an ideal solution to aiding their squad.

After bringing in the likes of Radamel Falcao, Daley Blind and Angel Di Maria, Louis van Gaal is now keen to improve his midfield, and supposedly still sees Vidal and Roma’s Kevin Strootman as good potential targets.

However, they face a tough task in tempting Vidal into joining them, with the midfielder having recently revealed his happiness to stay with the Italian giants.

He also said that his agent never discussed a move to Manchester with him this summer.

He said: “The truth is I was relaxed and calm this summer, focusing only on my knee, I never once asked my agent or Juventus if something was happening.

“I have a pact with my agent: if there is something concrete, then he alerts me. He did not alert me.

“I don’t know exactly what happened during the summer, but I doubt it was anything truly important, otherwise he would’ve warned me.”

Man Utd Line Up Sensational £52M Double Swoop – reports

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing up a double swoop for Juventus duo Arturo Vidal and Angelo Ogbonna, as reported by the Daily Express.

The Old Trafford club were repeatedly linked with a move for Chilean international Vidal during the summer months, but the club never put together the right financial package to ensnare one of the Old Lady of Turin’s prized assets.

Dutch manager Louis van Gaal was reportedly concerned about Vidal’s knee, which meant that the club were not willing to lay out the significant fee demanded by the Serie A side.

However, Vidal is now back in action for Juve, and Van Gaal is therefore willing to return with another bid for the player in January.

The Manchester club are apparently not only keen on Vidal, however, with the side hoping to bolster their defensive ranks by adding Ogbonna too.

Reports in Europe suggest the duo could be snapped up for a combined fee of £52 million, with Vidal set to cost £40 million and Ogbonna set to cost £12 million.
