Leeds Confirmed XI vs Norwich: Brazilian Ace Starts

Leeds United have confirmed their starting eleven for the match against Norwich City in the Championship tonight, as reported by their official Twitter account.

After an impressive cameo appearance against Rotherham last Friday night, Brazilian starlet Adryan starts his first game for the Whites.

The Flamengo loanee caused serious havoc for Rotherham’s defenders, and it will be interesting to see what impact he can have from the start of a clash.

Mirco Antenucci follows up his performance against Leeds’s fellow Yorkshire side, when he scored from close range, by starting again.

Elsewhere, Guiseppe Bellusci and Jason Pearce continue their partnership in defence, which has been developing consistently over recent weeks.

Despite slight criticism of him from some fans, Tommaso Bianchi retains his place in the starting line up.

Alex Mowatt, who has impressed considerably since working his way back into the first team for Leeds since Dave Hockaday’s sacking, also plays.

The line up is as follows: Silvestri, Byram, Bellusci, Pearce, Berardi, Austin, Bianchi, Mowatt, Adryan, Doukara, Antenucci

Revealed: Cellino Dropped Adryan From Leeds Utd XI On Friday

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino reportedly demanded that Brazilian starlet Adryan was dropped from Leeds United’s starting eleven on Friday night, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

The Whites ultimately lost the clash against Rotherham, falling to a 2-1 defeat despite initially leading the game through a goal from striker Mirco Antenucci.

Adryan did eventually make his debut for the Yorkshire club from the bench, but the circumstances surrounding his inclusion on the night were somewhat bizarre.

The Flamengo loanee was initially named in the first team, but was pulled out shortly before kick off, with academy graduate Lewis Cook taking his place instead.

Despite this, Adryan still featured on the bench, suggesting that there was nothing wrong.

A club insider is now suggesting to the Mirror that it was, in fact, Cellino who demanded that Darko Milanic drop Adryan from the starting line up.

Adryan impressed in his short time on the pitch, almost equalising a very tight game.

Confirmed Leeds Utd XI vs. Bournemouth: Danish International Out, Midfield Dynamo In

Leeds United have confirmed their starting line up for their clash against Bournemouth tonight in the Championship.

This fixture at Bournemouth saw Leeds fall to a humongous 4-1 loss last season, with the Yorkshire club collapsing in the face of Eddie Howe’s side.

However, Leeds have been in decent form over the last two games, winning against Bolton Wanderers and drawing away from home against Birmingham City. The televised clash against Birmingham saw the Yorkshire club come back from a one goal deficit, with Alex Mowatt scoring the equaliser.

Mowatt is not available for tonight’s game, having played through a toe injury at the weekend, and as a result, caretaker manager Neil Redfearn has been forced to rejig his side for tonight’s game.

Souleymane Doukara and Rodolph Austin both impressed after being introduced as substitutes at the weekend, and therefore it is no surprise that they are involved in tonight’s fixture.

Brazilian Adryan has an opportunity to make an impact, but will once again be limited to a place on the bench from the start.
