Giants Chase Liverpool Ace After Contract Woe – reports

Real Madrid are set to make a stunning swoop for Liverpool starlet Raheem Sterling after the talented young star’s contract talks with the Anfield club stalled.

Sterling reportedly turned down a new contract worth £70,000 a week with the Reds yesterday, believing that he deserves a bigger pay packet.

The England international has only scored three goals for the Reds since the start of the season, but his importance to them last campaign is difficult to overstate.

He played a key role as Brendan Rodgers’ side made a surprise push, challenging for the Premier League title as the season reached its climax.

As a result, he clearly feels he deserves a bigger salary, closer to £100,000 every week.

This might allow Real Madrid, who were previously linked with a move for the player, to capture their man.

Chelsea could also be potential rivals, having previously looked to sign Sterling from the Merseyside club.

  1. Why would Real Madrid be interested in Sterling ? He has speed yes and ability but his final ball is dire, his shooting ability is questionable and his left foot can be out powered by a wet fart. 3 goals this year and the ones he scored last year were put on a plate by Suarez, to soon for him to be moving tp a club like Real, he needs to develop more
