Confirmed XI Leeds vs. Fulham: ‘Warrior’ Misses Out

Leeds United struggled in their last game against Ipswich, ultimately falling to a 4-1 loss against Mick McCarthy’s side, having taken an early lead in the game through Italian striker Mirco Antenucci.

Antenucci retains his place in the starting line-up for the game against Fulham at Elland Road today, and will partner Souleymane Doukara up front, who he has combined well with regularly.

It will be interesting to see how the duo perform, with former Leeds hero Ross McCormack on display for Fulham to remind fans of the Whites what they lost in the summer.

That move cost the London side £11 million.

Leeds have made no alterations to the side that lost 4-1 to Ipswich, with Guiseppe Bellusci missing out after failing to recover from a strain in time for today’s clash.

Stephen Warnock retains the captain’s armband, which he took after Pearce lost his place in the side.

Adryan, Alex Mowatt, Lewis Cook and Tommasso Bianchi continue in midfield.

Sam Byram plays on the right side of defence, with Liam Cooper partnering Pearce.

Marco Silvestri remains in between the sticks for the Elland Road side.

Casper Sloth has returned to the bench after a long absence.
