Arsenal Star Admits Desire For Talks For His Future

Arsenal star Lukas Podolski has admitted that he wants to hold talks with manager Arsene Wenger over his future with the Emirates Stadium club, as reported by the Daily Express.

Wenger has used Podolski incredibly infrequently since the start of the new season, and the German international is not particularly happy about his lack of football.

Podolski has made only one start in the Premier League this term.

Arsenal’s struggling start to the new campaign was compounded by a 2-1 loss against Manchester United on Saturday.

The defeat came under relatively bizarre circumstances, with the Gunners dominating the clash for large swathes of the action.

They suffered an own goal by Kieran Gibbs, however, and from there collapsed to a painful home defeat against one of their traditional rivals.

Podolski was, once again, an unused substitute in the loss, and has admitted to his frustration and need to talk to the long term boss of the north London side.

He said: “I have to try to talk with Arsene Wenger. I want a fair chance.

“I love London, I like the club, but I do not like the situation. I’m not a clown.”
