Arsenal have sensationally agreed personal terms with Real Madrid’s midfield star Sami Khedira, with the club now able to discuss a deal for a January switch, as reported by the Daily Star.
An agreement over wages has finally been reached with the German World Cup winner, with that thought to have been a big issue holding back a transfer in the summer.
Arsenal were repeatedly linked with a move for Khedira in the summer, with a deal thought to have been agreed with Spanish giants Real.
Khedira’s contract with the Champions League winners expires at the end of the season, which means Arsenal would be able to bring him in for free next summer.
This could aid Arsenal in their chase for a January move.
With Real not particularly keen to lose the player on a free transfer, they could agree to a cut price switch in the winter window.
