Tottenham Hotspur Will Be Without A Stadium For 2017/18 – reports

Tottenham Hotspur could find themselves without a ground in 2017/18 after the news was revealed that the White Hart Lane redevelopment is unlikely to be ready for that season, as reported by Tim Nichols of the London Evening Standard.

The situation is so bad that Spurs may even find themselves playing their football at the Stadium:MK, MK Dons’s stadium in Milton Keynes, a stadium a significant distance from their current ground.

The redevelopment was expected to be completed for the beginning of the 2017/2018 season, but it seems that building work has not yet gone to plan, delaying the plans. This represents a five year delay on the original plan to have been able to move into their new stadium for the beginning of 2012/13.

Spurs are planning to knock down White Hart Lane as part of their redevelopment project.

The new stadium is expected to have a capacity of 56,250 fans, with costs of around £400 million to build it.
