£27.5m Man Utd Flop Big Part Of Van Gaal’s Plans – Reports

Marouane Fellaini has had a discussion with Louis van Gaal over his Manchester United future, and it seems as though the Dutch manager is planning to make the Belgian international a key part of his side in the future, as reported by the Daily Star.

The midfielder has struggled horribly since David Moyes bought him from Everton for £27.5 million last season, with the weight of a big money deadline day move weighing him down.

Fellaini did not score last season, and has begun the new season on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury.

Belgian news sources are now reporting that Van Gaal has discussed the future with Fellaini, however, and clarified that he believes the giant will have a future at Old Trafford.

He even went as far as to say that Fellaini would become an integral part of the side.

Fellaini was consistently linked with a move to Napoli this summer, but he now seems likely to get a chance to shine upon his return in three weeks time.
