Real Have No Interest In Liverpool Starlet, Insists Boss

Real Madrid have no interest in signing Liverpool’s ultra talented forward Raheem Sterling, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The 19 year old has established himself as one of the more highly rated talents in the Premier League in the last year, having risen to prominence for both Liverpool and England in that time.

Despite his incredible form, the young player has not yet agreed a new deal with Liverpool, which has opened up increasing speculation about his future with the Anfield club.

There have therefore been suggestions in the press that one of the sides interested in signing him are Real, who tend to hoover up the world’s top talents in any given season.

However, former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that they have no real reason to sign Sterling, despite being well aware of the fact that he is an exceptional footballer.

“Sterling is a player of great quality, certainly one of the best in Europe,” he said.

“But we already have extraordinary talent here.”

Liverpool Boss: Boo Boys Will Not Leave Starlet Alone

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has said that his young gun Raheem Sterling will need to get used to being booed by opposition fans, as reported by the Daily Express.

Sterling has emerged as one of the top young talents in the Premier League over the last calendar year, and as a result, Rodgers is unsurprised that the star is being targeted by the fans of the teams that the Reds face in the league.

He was not excused from this treatment at the weekend, when he visited his former side Queens Park Rangers.

Despite being singled out for rough treatment, Sterling was his usual exceptional self, and his stunning run in the last minute was imperative to Liverpool winning the game 3-2.

Sterling broke free from his markers as Liverpool counter attacked in injury time, bursting through into the penalty area.

A short pass across the box was then accidentally turned in by QPR’s Steven Caulker, giving Liverpool a valuable win.

Rodgers is unsurprised that Sterling has been targeted, saying: “Good players get booed.

That is something Raheem Sterling might get from time to time.”

Liverpool Confirmed XI: Criticised International Starts

Brendan Rodgers has named his Liverpool eleven to face Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League this afternoon.

Despite missing out on starting for England last weekend, Raheem Sterling has taken a place in the line up for the Anfield club this afternoon. This will surely drum up further controversy, although it is not to be forgotten that Sterling actually began his career with QPR, which, given how footballing narratives work, means he will almost certainly score against the London side today.

Rodgers has also turned to Mario Balotelli to lead the line, despite dropping him for Liverpool’s last game in the Premier League.

This means that the Reds are gonna play with a front three of Adam Lallana, Sterling and Balotelli.

At the heart of defence, Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel pair up.

Emre Can also features in midfield.

Also, Glen Johnson has been restored to the first team after recovering from a long running injury.
