Liverpool Hero Calls For Club To Bag £20M Wing Wizard

Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher has called for the club to sign Borussia Dortmund’s wing wizard Marco Reus, as he declared on his official Twitter account.

When asked by a Liverpool fan as to who he would like to the club to sign in the near future, Carragher replied with the star’s name, saying:

Liverpool have had an indifferent start to the new season, and have struggled to put together a settled and fluid line up since the departure of Luis Suarez during the summer.

The controversial Uruguayan hitman moved to Barcelona for £75 million, despite being banned from football activity for a period of four months.

Reus has been an often linked target for Liverpool since the summer, and would be an ideal replacement for the departed goal hungry talent.

Reports in Germany also suggest that Reus is keen on leaving Dortmund next summer, with his contract containing a release clause that allows him to leave for £20 million.

Arsenal And Man Utd To Be Pipped To £28m Wing Sensation – reports

Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has reportedly decided that he wants a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid at the end of this season, putting a dampener on Arsenal and Manchester United’s hopes of snapping him up, as reported by Talksport.

The German winger’s contract discussions with his club have stalled in recent days, and there have been suggestions that Reus wants a move away from the Bundesliga.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, Reus has now supposedly set his sights on a switch to the giants of Real Madrid.

There has been significant expectation that the forward would move in the summer, with Reus possessing a £28 million release clause in his contract.

That clause activates next summer, allowing the star to make a switch at well below his real value.

The likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Bayern Munich have all been linked with a move for him, but it now seems as though they will miss out.

Sensational £20m Man Utd And Arsenal Target Stalls On Contract

Manchester United and Arsenal have both been handed a boost in their chase for German international winger Marco Reus, with the forward said to be stalling on discussing a new contract with his current club.

The player is said to be refusing to negotiate a new deal with Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season, as reported by the Daily Express.

Reus is said to favour a move to the Premier League should he decide to make the switch, but the likes of Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are all also considering a move for the 25 year old.

The fact that he is unwilling to renegotiate his contract will come as a huge boost for Arsenal and Man Utd, with Liverpool also said to be sniffing around him.

His current contract is said to include a release clause that will drop to £20 million at the end of the season, a small sum for a player of his considerable talent.

Sportbild say that the German international is not willing to enter talks until the end of the season, with Reus said to be worried about Dortmund’s transfer policy in recent seasons.

Reus has seen Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski leave in recent seasons, with both joining Bayern.
