Giants Ready To Sell £20m Man Utd And Arsenal Target – reports

Borussia Dortmund are willing to part with Manchester United and Arsenal target Ilkay Gundogan in the January transfer window, with the German international refusing to sign a new deal with the German giants.

The midfield wizard has recently returned from a long term injury, and was thought to be an integral part of Dortmund’s attempt to avoid relegation this season, with the Bundesliga side having slipped down the table in surprise fashion since the campaign kicked off.

Reports in Germany suggest that the club are willing to move Gundogan on after he refused to agree to a new contract, according to the Daily Express.

This is a particular issue for the Prussian side, who have seen the likes of Robert Lewandowski leave on free transfers in recent seasons.

While Man Utd are thought to be favourites to capture him, they will likely face competition from Arsenal, who are also keen on his signature.

Gundogan has previously been valued at around £20 million by Real Madrid, who are also thought to be interested.

Blow To Man Utd Hopes Of Capturing £20M Midfield Machine – reports

Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their hopes of signing Ilkay Gundogan, with Real Madrid now plotting a £20 million move for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, as reported by the Daily Express.

The German international has been targeted by Man Utd for an extended period of time, but they could not make a move for him in the summer or last season, with Gundogan having suffered a significant injury that kept him out for an extended spell.

However, Dortmund have recently been boosted by the news that he is set to return to full fitness this week.

If Man Utd were hopeful that this meant they could make a simple move for him in January, however, they have been dealt a blow, with Real set to make further efforts to sign him.

Dortmund see Gundogan as being worth £20 million, and the Champions League winners might even be willing to pay more than the asking price in order to stop him moving to Old Trafford instead.
