Key Man Utd Target Thought To Be Pushing For Old Trafford Move – reports

Manchester United target Arturo Vidal is thought to be pushing through a move to the Old Trafford club, as reported by the Daily Star.

There are suggestions in Italy that the player is keen to leave Juventus, in order to sign with Louis van Gaal’s side, after a summer full of speculation that he would make the move to Manchester.

Despite the constant rumours linking him with a switch, a move never came to fruition, and it seemed as though interest had cooled on both sides.

However, reports in the press have picked up steam again in the last few days, with Man Utd said to be interested in strengthening their midfield with the Chilean international.

Vidal did, however, report late for training on Friday, having been involved in a brawl in a nightclub in the early hours of the morning.

Juventus are now keen to ascertain whether this is part of an attempt on Vidal’s part to push through a move.

Man Utd Given Boost As Club Willing To Sell £40M Dynamic Target – reports

Manchester United have been given a huge boost in their long running chase for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, after it was revealed that the Serie A side no longer believe Vidal to be indispensable, as reported by the Daily Express.

The Old Trafford club have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Chilean international.

Vidal is considered one of the best midfielders in European football today, and was often thought to be the ideal solution to Man Utd’s long standing problems in the centre of the park.

A move failed to go through in the summer, with the serial Serie A winners not keen on losing one of their star players.

They told the Manchester side that the player was not available at any price.

However, Man Utd are expected to reignite their interest in January, and it seems as though Juve’s perspective has changed.

The Italian side are willing to sell him now, having lost patience with Vidal.

He was fined £80,000 after showing up late for training, having been at a nightclub the night before.

However, they want £40 million from the Red Devils to secure the transfer.

Reports: Arsenal To Fight European Giants In Quest For Khedira

Arsenal will face stiff competition from Italian giants AC Milan in their quest for Sami Khedira, with the Rossoneri particularly keen on winning the services of the highly talented World Cup winner, as reported by fichajes.net.

The north London club have emerged as the most likely destination for the hugely talented midfielder, with reports in recent days suggesting that the Reds have already agreed a deal with the player ahead of a potential January move.

However, there was previously no indication that Milan were interested, and it remains to be seen if that changes Khedira’s thinking going forward.

An issue for Arsenal is that they are particularly keen to close a deal in January for the player, and if Real aren’t willing to do so, they will face a spate of competition for the player in the summer, when he becomes a free agent.

Chelsea are another club who, for example, would be keen on a move in the summer.
