Huge Blow As Arsenal Star Reveals He Wants Talks Over His Future

Arsenal star Lukas Podolski has revealed that he wants to hold talks with boss Arsene Wenger in the January transfer window over his future, as reported by the Daily Express.

Podolski also hinted that should the outcome of the talks turn out to be unsatisfactory, he would look to leave the Emirates Stadium during the winter window.

The German international has reason to be unhappy with his lot in north London, having made only eight appearances for the Gunners since the start of the new season.

In fact, Podolski is yet to start a single game in the Premier League, a huge comedown from his exploits in the summer, when he won the World Cup with Germany in Brazil.

It is becoming increasingly clear that Wenger might not have any faith in Podolski.

As a result, the player has admitted he will look to hold talks with Wenger in the near future.

“Of course I’m not happy when I’m not playing,” Podolski said.

“I want to be playing and enjoying my football. We’ll have to see what happens this winter.

“I’m going to seek talks with my club then, but there’s no pressure.”
