Arsenal Blow In Chase For £19.8M Star As He Prefers Spain Move – reports

Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their chase for Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, with the player apparently keen on a switch to Spain, as reported by the Daily Star.

Speculation over the German international’s future has been intense in recent weeks, after it was revealed that the forward has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for only £19.8 million next summer.

Reports suggest that Arsenal are one of many clubs interested in signing the 25 year old, with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool also thought to be keen on capturing him at the end of the season.

They have been dealt a blow in this chase, however, with sources in Spain suggesting that Reus is keen on a switch to the Iberian peninsula.

In fact, Reus is reportedly very keen on a switch to Spanish giants Real Madrid, and will turn down a move elsewhere.
