Manchester United and Arsenal are set to miss out on the ‘English Messi’, after Delle Alli snubbed a move to the clubs in order to sign a new deal with MK Dons, his current club, as reported by the Daily Express.
He had also received interest from fellow Premier League sides Liverpool and Chelsea recently.
The 18 year old has been called the English Messi by some people, is considered to be one of the best young talents in the country.
This despite him playing his football for MK Dons in the third tier of English game.
He was thought to be making the switch to a Premier League side this summer, but it now seems that he will commit himself to the Dons for the near future at the least.
Alli was one of many who starred in MK Dons’ clash with Man Utd in the League Cup, which they won 4-0 in a sensational display.
