Huge Man Utd Boost In Chase For £60m Superstar

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has left Manchester United in pole position to sign Real Madrid’s want away star Cristiano Ronaldo, after declaring that the Stamford Bridge club have no interest in signing the Portuguese international, as reported by the Daily Star.

The west London club were said to be Man Utd’s main rivals for the signature of Ronaldo, who has suggested that he wants a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in the near future.

Man Utd are thought to be willing to offer Ronaldo more than £300,000 a week in order to bring him back to the club where he made his name, and they are said to have put £60 million aside to secure his transfer.

Regarding the Ballon d’Or winner, who Mourinho worked closely with as manager of Real Madrid, the machiavellian manager simply said: “Forget it.”

Ronaldo’s agent has reportedly fallen out with Real Madrid’s hierarchy after allowing Angel Di Maria to publish a critical letter after the confirmation of his record breaking move to Man Utd.
