Man Utd Prepare £300k+ Per Week Bonanza For Star – reports

Manchester United are willing to pay Cristiano Ronaldo over £300,000 a week to get the Ballon d’Or winner to leave Real Madrid, increasing his current wage packet significantly in the process, as reported by The Metro.

The Old Trafford club are even hoping that they can convince him to return to the side where he made his name as early as January, with their huge financial package thought to be enough to tempt him into leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo is thought to want a move after his agent Jorge Mendes fell out with the club’s hierarchy. Another of Mendes’ clients, Angel Di Maria, who also moved to Old Trafford this summer, published a letter criticising Real’s board after his departure, and the club were not happy about that.

With Ronaldo currently earning £290,000 a week from the Spanish giants, Man Utd are aiming to trump them by clarifying that they’ll give him more than £300,000 if he is willing to jump ship.
