Liverpool youngster Suso has turned down a proposal from La Liga title winners Atletico Madrid, but may yet leave Anfield to move to AC Milan, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, who is a journalist for Sky Sport in Italy, on his own website.
Di Marzio went as far as to say that the Italian giants have convinced Suso to make the switch to Italy in the summer, when his contract with the Merseyside club expires.
He did, however, in the process, turn down not only Atletico Madrid, but also German side Borussia Dortmund, who have consistently challenged for the Bundesliga crown in recent seasons.
Should Milan want to secure him before the end of the season, they will have to pay a fee to Liverpool, but he can move under the Bosman rule at the end of the season.
Both Dortmund and Atletico offered fees of around €3 million to sign Suso, but he reportedly prefers the switch to Italy.
