£44m Ace Desperate To Join Man Utd In Summer

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao is desperate to make his move to the Old Trafford club permanent in the summer, after admitting that his life in England is good, as reported by the Daily Star.

Falcao made the switch to the Red Devils on deadline day, but could only be signed on a temporary loan spell, taking him to the end of the season.

As part of the agreement with AS Monaco, Man Utd agreed that they could sign Falcao at any point in his loan spell for £44 million, having already paid a significant loan fee.

Now the Colombian international is keen to stay.

He has told the press about how he is comfortable in Manchester, and that he gets along well with his teammates.

While he has yet to score on a regular basis, Falcao’s form over the festive period suggests there might be enough to tempt Louis van Gaal into a permanent deal.

He clearly wants to stay, saying: “I’m good.”

“My family are comfortable. We’re enjoying life in Manchester and here at the club.

“The people have been great with me, with my family. We’re happy and very grateful.

“Right from the start, they [my colleagues] welcomed me.

“They supported me and helped me with whatever I needed.

“They are a really humble group of players, really decent and, well, I was taken aback by how kind they’ve been.”

Falcao is clearly not keen to go back to Monaco either.

He added: “It’s more attractive than the French league.

“Defenders are stronger and more aggressive. In a good way, you know? It’s intense and, well, overall just more physical.”

Giants Prep Move For Man Utd’s £40m+ Ace – reports

Juventus are thought to be preparing a stunning move for Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao in the near future, according to the Daily Express.

The Old Trafford club were revealed to be interested in making their move for Falcao permanent earlier on Sunday evening.

They will have to pay £44 million to secure his signature on a permanent basis.

However, Juve are hoping to swoop in and take advantage of any concern on the part of Man Utd about his long term fitness, as initially reported by Italian outlet La Gazzetta Sportiva.

While Falcao has played the majority of Man Utd’s games over the festive period, he previously struggled with a series of injuries.

Louis van Gaal will likely be keen to ensure his fitness is up to scratch over the next few months before committing such a huge sum.

With two contrasting reports, it is not clear which way Falcao’s future lies.

Juve are particularly keen on a move if they lose Paul Pogba, who could move for a staggering £70 million.

Man Utd Set To Lay Out £44m For Striker – reports

Manchester United are looking increasingly likely to pay the required £44 million fee to turn Radamel Falcao’s loan spell into a permanent transfer, according to the Daily Star.

The Colombian international joined the Old Trafford side on transfer deadline day on a permanent basis, but it will cost a huge amount to secure his signature after the end of the season.

Louis van Gaal was initially doubtful about Falcao’s future with the Red Devils in the first few months of his spell.

The striker suffered from a series of injuries after his arrival, following on from the knee trouble he faced towards the end of last season while still at AS Monaco, who Man Utd have loaned him from.

However, he has been heavily involved over the festive period, also starting the game against Yeovil in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Man Utd progressed from that game and now enter the fourth round draw.

They have not won the competition since 2004.
