Arsenal Set To Confirm January Capture Of Young Sensation – reports

Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal with Barcelona to bring their young Spanish star Munir El-Haddadi to the club for only £9.4 million, as reported by the Daily Express.

The young talent has emerged fully on to the scene this season, being called up for the Spanish national side to replace Diego Costa after the Chelsea star was forced to withdraw from the squad.

There is a suggestion that the Gunners have activated the release clause in Munir’s contract, and the deal will be confirmed in January.

With a small release clause for the player written into his contract, he has the opportunity to depart if he so chooses, given the lack of money a club would have to pay out for his services.

In an attempt to convince him to stay, Barca have involved the 19-year-old thus far this season, with him scoring against Elche.

However, with Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi ahead of him, it’s unlikely that he will play much this season, and Arsene Wenger now has an opportunity to sign a potential star for far less than his true value.

Arsenal To Make €35m Double Raid For Barcelona Wonderkids – reports

Arsenal are set to make a €35 million (£28 million) move for Barcelona wonderkid duo Munir El Haddadi and Sergi Samper, as reported by Spanish newspaper Sport.

El Haddadi has emerged onto the scene since the start of the season, and went on to earn a call up to the Spanish national side after a series of good displays for the Catalan giants.

Samper is also highly regarded by Barca, who are planning to wear a nationalistic independence shirt for their upcoming home clash with Athletic Bilbao, as a result of significant calls for Catalan statehood in the area in recent weeks.

Arsenal face a tough test this weekend, as they host Premier League champions Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

Manager Arsene Wenger is expected to hand a debut to new £16 million addition Danny Welbeck, who scored two goals on monday for England.

Arsenal have won one game and drawn two since the season began.
