Leeds Utd Owner Set For Meeting Over Elland Road This Month

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is set to hold a meeting with Elland Road landlord Jacob Adler later this month, as reported by Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The ownership of the stadium has been an issue since it was sold over a decade ago, with various owners promising to make rebuying the stadium a priority.

Gulf Finance House repeatedly referred to buying the stadium as part of their intended plans for the club, but financial issues and general mismanagement stopped that from ever happening.

Cellino spoke about his intention to buy the stadium back from its current owners from the minute he bought the club, but seemed to run into issues.

The Italian had said that he would go to the bank immediately after coming to Leeds, but was hindered by financial problems.

He has also said that some of the money that the club got from the big money sale of Ross McCormack to Fulham would be used to buy back the stadium.

Leeds Owner Cellino On Bean: “I Don’t Give A F**k”

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has reacted to Graham Bean’s response to being sacked, telling journalist Simon Austin that he does not “give a fuck”.

Bean was sacked from his post as an administrative consultant at Elland Road earlier today, having sanctioned a fixture change without Cellino’s approval.

The game against Reading, who Leeds face this week, was moved to Wednesday from it’s originally scheduled position on Tuesday.

Reading are set to play against Wolves on Sunday, and Cellino is reportedly unhappy at the fact that Bean had sanctioned a switch that stops Leeds having an advantage.

In speaking to Austin, Cellino expressed his general anger at Bean, saying: “I don’t give a fuck. I have to run this club my way. I don’t like to talk about private matters. Ciao.”

Leeds face off against Brentford tomorrow, in new coach Darko Milanic’s first match in charge.

The Whites have been undefeated in their last four games, and Milanic will have to match up to the displays of Neil Redfearn, who ran the team well during his caretaker spell in charge.

Leeds Owner Cellino Has “Hope” Club Are On The Brink Of Big Things

Massimo Cellino, Leeds United’s owner, has heralded the arrival of Serbian coach Darko Milanic by declaring that he “hopes” the club are on the cusp of big things in the near future, as reported by BBC Radio Leeds.

The Italian corn magnate terminated the deal of Dave Hockaday several weeks ago, having only appointed him as head coach during the summer months.

He has since seen Neil Redfearn keep the team undefeated over four games, winning three of them, and the atmosphere around the club has improved significantly in that spell.

Redfearn has not, however, been offered the job, and it now seems as though it will be going to former Maribor manager Milanic.

The former Slovenian treble winner is set to sign a two year contract with the Yorkshire club tomorrow.

With the appointment on the cusp of occurring, Cellino was asked whether he thought that Leeds were going to see big things in their future.

Cellino replied simply, stating only: “I hope so”.
