World Class £80m Spurs Hero Wants to Return To The Club One Day

Former Tottenham Hotspur hero Gareth Bale has declared that he would love to return to the club and the Premier League before his career is over, as reported by BT.com.

The Welsh international winger has established himself as one of the best players in his position in the world in recent years, and secured a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid as a result, with his move last summer costing the Spanish club £80 million.

Spurs tried to deal with the departure of Bale last summer by signing a significant number of players, but they failed to gel and the north London club struggled as a result.

They have started the new season well, however, with new manager Mauricio Pochettino improving his side’s displays since his arrival.

Bale has impressed while at Real, winning the Copa del Rey and the Champions League last season in his first year at the club.

He has, however, said that he wouldn’t mind a move back one day, saying: “The fans have been unbelievable with me.

“They’ve supported me through the bad times and believed in me and I’ll never forget the great European nights at White Hart Lane. They were amazing.

“Tottenham will always have a place in my heart. I hope the fans still love me even though I’ve moved on. I hope they understand that obviously Real Madrid is a massive, massive club and that they respect my decision.

“From the moment Real Madrid put the offer in it was obviously difficult. [Tottenham] was somewhere I felt so comfortable and so happy – it was difficult to leave but when Real Madrid come in it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“I love all the Tottenham fans and hopefully one day, you never know, I could be back.”

£60m World Class Man Utd Target Keen To Play At Liverpool

Manchester United hero Cristiano Ronaldo is exceptionally excited to play at Anfield in this season’s Champions League, as reported by the Daily Express.

They were told this by Liverpool hero Ian Rush, who has said that the player cannot wait to test himself at the famous stadium again.

Furthermore, former Spurs star Gareth Bale is also excited about the possibility of returning to England and taking part in a game at the home of Liverpool.

It will be the first time Bale has faced a Premier League side since his big money move to Madrid in 2013.

The Reds have been drawn in a group with the winners of last season’s Champions League, and will have to perform well if they hope to overcome them.

Rush said: “Even the away teams look forward to playing at Anfield.

“You’ve got Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, they are looking forward to it. That’s why it is so special.”

Ronaldo himself has spoken about his excitement, with his Man Utd connections also discussed in the process.

He said: “If I was going back to Old Trafford, the reception from the fans would be amazing for me.

“Going to Liverpool will be very different – wow!

“Of course I know that it’s a very difficult place to go, although I won there a few times with United. They came very close last year to winning the Premier League so we know it’s going to be a very tough game at Anfield.

“For me, knowing it’s going to be the first time, I’m looking forward to it. I know Anfield. But we are Real Madrid.”

The Champions League kicked off last night, with both Arsenal and Liverpool involved.

Ronaldo has been frequently linked with a move back to Man Utd in recent weeks, with a fee of £60 million mooted for the transfer.

World Class Ex-Spurs Hero Says Chelsea Will Win The Premier League

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has said that Chelsea will win the league this season, as a result of the incredible array of talent available to them, as reported by the Daily Express.

Bale moved to Real Madrid last summer, leaving the Premier League behind him in a sensational move for a big money fee, but he’s been looking back at it from afar, and the Welsh international cannot look past for the Premier League crown.

He told BT Sport: “I feel Chelsea will win this year.

“They’re very strong, so I reckon they’ll win this year.”

Chelsea have been widely regarded as the team to have won the transfer window, with several big money sales funding improvements across the first team.

The acquisition of Diego Costa has been particularly highlighted as a good signing, with the Brazil born Spanish international having scored four goals in three games in the Premier League.

Cesc Fabregas has also joined from Barcelona, and has settled in incredibly well, assisting Costa with several key passes.
