Manchester United are set to be disappointed in their chase for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale, with the player having no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu club, as reported by fichajes.net.

The Welsh international winger has settled well at the Spanish club since his €100 million move from Tottenham Hotspur last summer, but the Red Devils were hopeful of signing him in the winter window or next summer.

However, despite their clear interest, Bale has no interest in making the move to Old Trafford.

Man Utd were reportedly willing to pay about €115 million to sign the Welsh speedster, but the player himself does not want to move.

Bale has fallen out of Real’s first team since his recent injury, but is confident of gaining his place again from the likes of Isco.

Man Utd will likely now have to turn their attentions to more realistic targets, having chased Bale’s teammate Cristiano Ronaldo before.
