Arsenal And Liverpool Have Hopes Of Capturing Argentine Ace

Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain future, with the Argentinian international known to be unsettled at the Serie A side, as reported by the Daily Express.

In fact, the player has refused to comment on his future, suggesting that he does not see much of one with the Italian side going forward.

Italian sources believe that the striker is unhappy at his current club, and that the player is intending to push through a move away in the summer transfer window.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal have been consistently linked with him over the last few months, and Brendan Rodgers is thought to have made a £31.2 million bid for the player in the summer.

Liverpool will almost certainly bolster their attacking options going forward, having failed to adapt to the loss of Luis Suarez.

The Italian club could be forced to sell him, having had their financial situation made difficult by their early Champions League exit.
