Spurs Target Shock £10M January Move For Arsenal Star – reports

Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a shock £10 million January move for Arsenal star Lukas Podolski, as reported by Caught Offside.

So desperate is the north London club’s desire to add goal scoring prowess to their squad in the winter window that they are willing to break through the lines of war with Arsenal in order to snatch the German striker.

However, it would not be a particularly difficult task to convince Podolski to leave the Emirates Stadium, with the World Cup winner particularly frustrated at his lack of first team action this season and over the last 18 months.

The additions of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck for big money during the summer months do not suggest that opportunities will be forthcoming in the near future either.

Mauricio Pochettino has therefore been given permission by Daniel Levy to make an opening bid of £10 million for the forward, with the hope of completing a bid in January.
