Arsenal’s Huge Boost As Key Pair Return To Full Training

Arsenal have been handed a huge boost over the international break, after it was revealed that injured duo Theo Walcott and Serge Gnabry have both returned to full training, as reported by the Daily Star.

The Gunners have faced painful news over the last week with regards to the fitness of key stars, with the most damaging being the fact that Mesut Ozil will miss up to three months of action after suffering a slight ligament tear.

Laurent Koscielny, so key to Arsenal’s defence, has also been struggling with an Achilles problem, adding more injury problems to Arsene Wenger’s long list.

However, Wenger will receive a significant boost from the dual return of Walcott and Gnabry, who have both been out of action for extended periods of time.

Walcott has not featured since January, when Arsenal beat Spurs 2-0 in the FA Cup, and Gnabry suffered an injury in April.

Wenger said: “Theo is not too far away now.

“Serge has been out for a long, long time and Theo has also been out for nine months, so it’s good to see them back.

“They’ve worked very hard and they’re very dedicated. They are back in the group on a daily basis and that’s very good news.”
