Liverpool And Arsenal Told To Wait Until Summer To Sign Mini Magician – reports

Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco has told the pack of Premier League sides looking to sign him that they should wait until the summer, when he will be available, as reported by the Daily Express.

Giovinco has been heavily linked with a move to England in recent months, and Arsenal and Liverpool have both been regularly linked with a switch.

However, a move for the player has never come off, yet Giovinco is finally looking to move on in the summer.

The 27 year old’s contract is set to expire in the summer, and Giovinco is not willing to negotiate a new deal with the Old Lady, having started only two games for the side in Serie A since the start of the season.

While clubs might have been tempted to make a move in the winter, the player himself has told the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal to wait until the summer when they can sign him for free.

He said: “There’s something wrong, that’s obvious.

“The whole season has been a bit like that, so we’ll see what to do. I don’t think I’ll move in January, we’ll see in June.”

Arsenal Open Talks With Forward For January Move – reports

Arsenal are reported to have opened talks with Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco ahead of a potential switch in January, as reported by the Metro.

Reports suggest that manager Arsene Wenger is interested in bringing in another striker during the January transfer window, despite having signed Danny Welbeck on deadline day.

Prior to Welbeck’s arrival, it seemed as though the Gunners would struggle for forward options, with Olivier Giroud having been ruled out until the New Year after suffering a knock in the clash against Everton.

Displays without Giroud were not good enough, with Alexis Sanchez struggling to impose himself in a central role and it now seems as though Wenger is increasingly fearful of replicating that situation.

As a result, the north London side are supposedly considering Giovinco as a possible option for a January move.

The Italy international has found himself behind the likes of Fernando Llorente, Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans at Juve.
