QPR Boss Fears “Dangerous” Man Utd Forward Line

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has referred to Manchester United’s brand new forward line as dangerous, with the London club tasked with being the first side to face a side boosted by the shock deadline day arrival of Radamel Falcao, as reported by the Daily Express.

It is not just Falcao’s arrival that has served to improve Man Utd’s forward line, however, as the addition of Angel Di Maria earlier in the transfer window represented the capture of the most impressive player of last season’s Champions League final for a British record transfer fee. Di Maria cost £59.7 million to tempt away from Real Madrid.

Man Utd already have Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie available to them, along with the likes of Juan Mata and Adnan Januzaj. That combination did not impress last season, however, as Man Utd finished seventh. Van Gaal has improved in an attempt to get the club back into the Champions League, and Redknapp is worried about the side he now faces.

He said: “Well, it certainly sounds dangerous!

“It’s got the makings of a great forward line.

“It’ll be interesting to see how they gel together. Di Maria doesn’t sound too bad either.

“We’ve got to go up there and make sure we work hard. We’ve got to be prepared to give them a game on Sunday.”

New Man Utd Addition Wants To Stay At Club For Many Years

Manchester United’s loan addition Radamel Falcao has confirmed that he wants to stay at Old Trafford for many years going forward, despite his move only encompassing an initial agreement for one year at the Manchester side, as reported by Goal.com.

There is, however, an option on Man Utd’s part at the end of the season to sign him on a permanent basis for a fee of £35 million, and Falcao is clearly hopeful that he will impress enough for that clause to be exercised.

He said: “I am very happy to be here.

“It’s a big challenge for me, for my career, I always dreamed of being at a club like Manchester United.

“I hope to stay many years at Manchester United and make history at this club. When I was at Porto, Atletico Madrid, I always wanted to improve and I dreamed of playing at a team like this – and now I want to stay here for many years.”

The AS Monaco player made a surprise switch to the Premier League on deadline day, with few predicting that Man Utd would be in for his signature.

His transfer has come at a high cost to Louis van Gaal’s new side, with the club expected to pay the entirety of his £346,000 a week wages, a staggering sum.

Falcao missed this summer’s World Cup after suffering a knee injury playing in the French Cup for Monaco in January.

Five Goals To Cost Man Utd £35 Million – reports

Manchester United will be obligated to spend £35 million on loan acquisition Radamel Falcao at the end of the season, should he make 15 appearances for the Old Trafford club and score five goals during his time on loan there, as reported by the Daily Express.

Falcao was the subject of a shock loan move to Manchester from AS Monaco on deadline day, with other giants of European football said to be interested in his signature previously.

Man Utd have publicised the fact that they have an option to buy the player at the end of the season, but have neglected to mention the fact that they will be forced to push through a move should he play 15 games and score only five goals.

The Old Trafford club are confident that Falcao has fully recovered from a knee injury that ruined his chances of going to the World Cup with Colombia.
