Chelsea Star Rules Out January Switch – reports

Chelsea back up goalkeeper Petr Cech has denied any interest in leaving Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window, according to his agent.

The agent believes that, despite losing his place in the team to the returning Thibaut Courtois, Cech is not keen to leave a club with whom he has spent an extended period of time, as reported by Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.

In fact, Cech has been first choice at the club since manager Jose Mourinho’s first spell in charge, and has only now lost it to the ultra talented Belgian.

Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid, Monaco and Arsenal have all been mentioned as clubs that could be interested in the veteran goalkeeper.

Roma have also been linked with a move, and it was a move there that caused his agent Viktor Kolar to respond directly to the rumours linking him with a switch away from the west London club.

He said: “There has been no contact with Roma.

“Petr definitely won’t move in the January transfer window.”

Liverpool Line Up £47m Triple January Raid – reports

Liverpool are lining up a £47 million triple January raid in a bid to  fix their broken season, as reported by the Daily Star.

The three players that they are thought to be lining up are Chelsea’s Petr Cech, Porto forward Jackson Martinez and Norwich City’s wing wizard Nathan Redmond, according to reports.

Boss Brendan Rodgers is thought to want the trio of talents in order to improve his side’s displays, which have been poor and seen them fall down the table.

Cech is no longer first choice at Stamford Bridge after the return from loan of Thibaut Courtois, who has supplanted him.

He could be bought as a replacement for Simon Mignolet, and cost Liverpool around £7 million.

Martinez is also a known target, and would cost around £30 million.

Rodgers is also considering a move for Redmond.

The England under-21 international would welcome a move back to the top flight, and would likely cost around £10 million.

Italian Giants To Rival Arsenal In Chase For £7m Chelsea Star – reports

AC Milan have waded into the battle for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, putting them in direct competition with Premier League side Arsenal for the veteran goalkeeper’s signature, as reported by the Daily Star.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had identified the Czech stopper as an ideal signing to improve his options in net and was said to have agreed a £7 million move for him..

Milan only bought Diego Lopez from Real Madrid in the summer, but they have also been tracking Cech with the intention of bringing him in.

The Italian side also have a good relationship with the Blues, having successfully negotiation loan moves for both Fernando Torres and Marco van Ginkel in the summer.

Cech is looking to move after seeing his situation at Chelsea deteriorate.

The return of Thibaut Courtois from his extended loan spell at Atletico Madrid heralded the end of his time between the sticks as first choice at Stamford Bridge.

While he was confident he would regain his role, Cech is now keen to move in favour of first team football.
