Chelsea And Arsenal Boost In Battle For £19.7m Star – reports

Borussia Dortmund are Borussia Dortmund are preparing for a world after Marco Reus by looking to sign Palermo ace Paulo Dybala.

This will hand a huge boost to both Chelsea and Arsenal, who are both keen on signing the German international forward, according to the Daily Star.

Reus is in an interesting position going into the January transfer window.

A release clause in his contract with Dortmund activates in the summer, which would allow him to leave the club for only £19.7 million, far less than his actual value.

That means that the German giants might have to sell him in the winter to the highest bidder, in order to get at least some of what Reus is actually worth out of his suitors.

Those suitors also include the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.

They will face competition from Real Madrid, however, and the Spanish giants have the financial capability to blow the Premier League duo out of the water.

Blow In Man Utd And Arsenal Chase for £19.7m Ace – reports

Manchester United and Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their chase for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus.

The Premier League duo have been regularly linked with a move for the German international, in January or in the summer.

However, Real Madrid are apparently on the cusp of finalising a deal for the forward, according to the Daily Star, which will come as a hammer blow to both of the English sides.

The Spanish giants have been consistently described as having an interest in the dynamic wide player in recent months.

It now seems as though they might have got his man.

Reus is in a unique position going into next summer.

He is one of the most highly rated players in Europe today, and would be valued highly in the transfer market.

However, a clause in his contract means that he can leave Dortmund next summer for only £19.7 million.

This means that Reus would be able to move for far less than his true value.

It also means Dortmund might have to agree a deal in January, to get at least some of his genuine value out of him.

Liverpool And Man Utd Prep For Battle Over £19.7m Ace – reports

Liverpool and Manchester United are primed to swoop after it was revealed that Borussia Dortmund are willing to sell forward Marco Reus.

The two Premier League sides have been among the frontrunners to sign Reus, who has a release clause written into his contract that activates during the summer.

That clause would allow him to leave Signal Iduna Park next summer for only £19.7 million, far below his true value.

As a result, Dortmund are now willing to sell the talented German international, who has been regularly injured since the start of the season, according to the Daily Star.

He is currently unavailable after suffering yet another setback to his fitness.

Both Man Utd and Liverpool are known to be keen on signing one of Europe’s best attacking players, but they will likely face competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid if they want to sign him.

With neither English side able to offer Champions League football, that competition may prove to be too much.
