Swansea Star On Chelsea Clash: “We Can Win”

Swansea City star Ki Sung-Yeung may be returning to England jet lagged after his international excursions for South Korea, but the midfielder believes that the Welsh side can manage another upset when they travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, as reported by the Daily Star.

Despite flying back for over 10 hours from Korea, Ki is expected to be involved in Saturday’s clash, which sees the only two teams to have won all three of their matches in the Premier League thus far this season face off.

Swansea have already caused a huge upset once this season, when they travelled to Old Trafford on the opening day of the year and shattered Manchester United’s pre-season optimism with a 2-1 victory.

Chelsea will be hoping to avoid a similar result, with Garry Monk’s troops looking exceptional thus far, but Ki is hopeful that they can manage it yet again.

He said: “We respect Chelsea and honestly, when you look at the players they have, they are better than us.

“But there is always a possibility when you play against a big team. We can win but we have to be better than in our first three games.”

The west London club are waiting on the fitness of Diego Costa after he was forced to withdraw from Spain’s national team during the international break.
