Leeds United Have Bid Accepted For Sensational 26-Goal Forward – Reports

Leeds United have reportedly had a bid accepted for Keiran Agard of Rotherham, as the Whites step up their transfer business ahead of the closure of the transfer window in just over two weeks’ time, as reported by Sean Taylor of the Press Association.

Agard was incredibly prolific for Rotherham in League One last season, scoring 26 goals as the Yorkshire side pushed for promotion from the league. They ultimately achieved that goal through the play-offs.

Massimo Cellino reportedly personally watched Agard in the League One play-off semi-final in May.

Leeds have been exceptionally active in the transfer market over the last few days after their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Millwall at the weekend. A poor display seems to have pushed owner Massimo Cellino into action, with concern over Leeds’s ability to sustain themselves in the Championship with the squad at their disposal brewing.

The Yorkshire side have added Giuseppe Bellusci, Liam Cooper and Billy Sharp over the last 24 hours, with Sharp a particular boon for the club, given the consistency with which he’s been linked with a move to Leeds over the last few seasons.
