Leeds Utd Starlet Scores Stunning Strike

Leeds United starlet Kalvin Phillips scored a stunning bicycle kick in the Under 21s clash against Nottingham Forest.

The youngster has captained the youth side since the start of the new campaign, and praise is high for the talented midfielder, who is expected to be the latest player off the famed Thorp Arch production line.

Phillips could soon find his way stepping up to the first team, with the route clearly established for him.

The likes of Alex Mowatt and Lewis Cook have both made an impact on the first team, with Sam Byram also enjoying a famed breakout season which saw him win the player of the year award.

The appointment of Neil Redfearn as first team head coach will likely increase the number of academy graduates playing at first team level, given his clear connection to the youth sides at Leeds.

Redfearn was previously in charge of the academy.

Phillips’ second strike of the game, from a long range free kick, was equally impressive.
