Liverpool Line Up £47m Triple January Raid – reports

Liverpool are lining up a £47 million triple January raid in a bid to  fix their broken season, as reported by the Daily Star.

The three players that they are thought to be lining up are Chelsea’s Petr Cech, Porto forward Jackson Martinez and Norwich City’s wing wizard Nathan Redmond, according to reports.

Boss Brendan Rodgers is thought to want the trio of talents in order to improve his side’s displays, which have been poor and seen them fall down the table.

Cech is no longer first choice at Stamford Bridge after the return from loan of Thibaut Courtois, who has supplanted him.

He could be bought as a replacement for Simon Mignolet, and cost Liverpool around £7 million.

Martinez is also a known target, and would cost around £30 million.

Rodgers is also considering a move for Redmond.

The England under-21 international would welcome a move back to the top flight, and would likely cost around £10 million.

Liverpool Chase £30m Arsenal Targeted Ace – reports

Liverpool are eyeing up a £30 million bid for Arsenal target Jackson Martinez as part of an attempt by Brendan Rodgers to save his side’s faltering season, as reported by the Daily Star.

The Anfield club fell to another destructive loss against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, their fourth successive defeat.

This comes in huge contrast to how they performed last season, when they put together a serious title challenge that allowed them to chase Manchester City until the end of the campaign.

Reports now suggest that Rodgers is looking to Martinez to improve his team, a player who has been heavily chased by fellow Premier League strugglers Arsenal.

Rickie Lambert scored his first goal for the Reds against Crystal Palace as they lost 3-1.

Mario Balotelli has also struggled to impress since his £16 million move from AC Milan, and it is now clear that Liverpool are chasing another striker to replace Luis Suarez.

Liverpool Confident Of Staggering £30m Move For Ace – reports

Liverpool are confident of putting together and completing a huge £30 million move for Porto striker Jackson Martinez in January, as reported by the Daily Express.

While the player himself has admitted that he is hopeful of receiving offers from clubs at the end of the season, reports are now suggesting that Liverpool are sincerely hopeful of signing him in January.

They will attempt to secure Martinez’s signing in the winter transfer window after their early season struggles have seen them fail to replicate last year’s blistering form.

The loss of striker Luis Suarez in the summer to Barcelona has clearly hurt them.

They sit a huge 15 points away from league leaders Chelsea after only 11 games.

While manager Brendan Rodgers sought to replace the quality of Suarez with quantity elsewhere, summer signings Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Lazar Markovic have all struggled in front of goal.

As a result, Rodgers is now seeking to pair Martinez with Daniel Sturridge in a new look strike force.
