10 Goal Liverpool Star Revealed As Key Target For Euro Giants – reports

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has been revealed as a key target for Inter Milan for the January window, with the Italian giants expecting to strengthen their squad considerably in the upcoming winter window.

Borini has been consistently linked with a move to the Italian side, but a deal in the sumer was not forthcoming.

With opportunities for the player mixed since the start of the campaign, it now seems as though the Milanese club will look to make the former Sunderland loanee one of their big signings during January, as reported by fichajes.net.

Borini spent last season on loan in the north east, helping the Black Cats avoid relegation and impressing considerably, scoring 10 goals in 40 games for Gus Poyet’s side.

There was a belief that he would be granted an opportunity upon returning to Liverpool, but Brendan Rodgers has looked to sell him since his return.

Borini turned down moves to Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland in the summer, and it remains to be seen if he’d be keen on a move to Inter.

Liverpool Star’s Future Transfer Plans Revealed

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini’s agent has revealed that the player is not particularly interested in leaving the Anfield club at any point in the near future, as reported by the Daily Star.

There was significant interest in the Italian international this summer, with the likes of Inter Milan, Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland all targeting him.

In fact, it became increasingly clear that Brendan Rodgers was not particularly keen to keep him any longer.

Rodgers brought Borini to Liverpool after working closely with him at both Chelsea and Swansea, but seemed to have decided he had no place at the club in the future.

However, the forward turned down the moves elsewhere, instead hoping to fight for his place.

He has been rewarded by some involvement in fixtures, although there are doubts about his game time in the future.

Despite this, Borini’s agent Marco De Marchi was clear that his client intends to stay with the Reds.

He said: “Borini is a top level player, so consequently he has a contract with Liverpool and any club interested knows how to approach them.

“At this moment I am certainly not going to look for another club, as the boy is happy to remain at Liverpool. Let’s not forget he left a journey he already started at Roma in order to come to England.

“Liverpool have no intention of loaning him out, as they already proved in August. We know that and so do all the clubs who came looking for him in the last transfer session.

“The situation is exactly the same as it was in September, in the sense that he is very happy to be part of this important team.

“He has managed to find some space playing in the Champions League and starting in the Premier League. Things are progressing as expected.”

Rival PL Boss: Deal Could Still Be Done For Liverpool Star

Liverpool misfit Fabio Borini could still depart Anfield in January, with former manager Gus Poyet suggesting that he is still keen to bring him back to the Stadium of Light, despite being rejected by him in the summer, as reported by The Sun.

Liverpool accepted a bid from Sunderland for the Italian striker earlier in the summer, with a £14 million fee for the player established between the two clubs.

Borini rejected a move back to the Stadium of Light, however, despite a successful loan spell at the club last season, with the Liverpool player playing a key role in the side staying in the Premier League.

There was also a further deal between Queens Park Rangers and Liverpool towards the end of the window, with the Reds accepting a cut price £10 million bid. Borini was still not willing to move, and wanted to establish a place in Liverpool’s first team.
