Agent – Spurs Keen On £15.7m Ace

Fenerbahce forward Emmanuel Emenike’s agent has hinted that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing his client in the near future, as reported by the London Evening Standard.

A clause in Emenike’s contract means that he can leave the Turkish giants at any point for a fee of £15.7 million, which would surely appeal to Spurs.

The north London club, aside from the in-form Harry Kane, do not have any strikers available to them who have been performing on a consistent basis.

The White Hart Lane club are even thought to be willing to offers for both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, potentially weakening their stable of strikers even further this month.

With Mauricio Pochettino’s side pushing for a Champions League place after the festive period, investing in a player now could reap great benefits in the future.

Emenike’s agent has now suggested that the north London club are keen on signing him.

Konyar said: “Tottenham have really only one striker right now so it is not a surprise that they are interested. I personally have not entered talks with Tottenham yet. However, if Fenerbahce give permission we can enter negotiations.

Arsenal Watch £15M Ace Ahead Of January Move – reports

Arsenal are reportedly scouting Fenerbache striker Emmanuel Emenike ahead of a possible £15 million January move for the player, as reported by The Metro.

Emenike has been consistently linked with possible transfers to the Premier League, with fellow London side Chelsea thought to have been on the cusp of signing him during the summer transfer window.

However, their rivals Arsenal are now thought to be ahead of the rest of the pack for his signature, with manager Arsene Wenger believed to be hopeful of putting together a deal for the striker in January.

The French boss has supposedly sent his scouts to review Emenike closely, and the club are thought to be willing to spend a huge £15 million transfer fee on him if his performances are good enough.

Emenike bagged 12 times last season in the 28 matches that he played.

Arsenal signed Danny Welbeck on deadline day in September, but have been consistently linked to other strikers.
