Chelsea And Man Utd To Be Warned Off £60m World Class Star – reports

Real Madrid are set to publicly declare that both Chelsea and Manchester United have no chance of signing Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and taking him away from the Santiago Bernabeu, as reported by The Independent.

Ronaldo and his agent have both suggested that the player would be interested in a move away from the Champions League winner, with the player somewhat unsettled at his club. This is a result of a series of signings this summer that have made his wages seem less impressive relative to the rest of the top talents in world football.

Man Utd themselves have played a key role in the wage inflation that Ronaldo is now jealous of, with Wayne Rooney surpassing Ronaldo in his new contract last season. Both Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria are also believed to earn more than the player who was officially regarded as the best in the world last year.

A Spanish insider said: “This is all about money. Cristiano considers himself to be one of the world’s greatest players and doesn’t want to be paid less than anyone else, no matter who they play for.

“But Madrid are in no mood to let him go and will almost certainly end up giving him whatever he wants. He’s too important for them to let go.”

Man Utd Prepare £300k+ Per Week Bonanza For Star – reports

Manchester United are willing to pay Cristiano Ronaldo over £300,000 a week to get the Ballon d’Or winner to leave Real Madrid, increasing his current wage packet significantly in the process, as reported by The Metro.

The Old Trafford club are even hoping that they can convince him to return to the side where he made his name as early as January, with their huge financial package thought to be enough to tempt him into leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo is thought to want a move after his agent Jorge Mendes fell out with the club’s hierarchy. Another of Mendes’ clients, Angel Di Maria, who also moved to Old Trafford this summer, published a letter criticising Real’s board after his departure, and the club were not happy about that.

With Ronaldo currently earning £290,000 a week from the Spanish giants, Man Utd are aiming to trump them by clarifying that they’ll give him more than £300,000 if he is willing to jump ship.

Chelsea To Make Stunning Move For £60m Man Utd Target – reports

Chelsea are reportedly among the contenders to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, and will clash with Premier League rivals Manchester United if they want to secure his signature, as reported by the Daily Express.

A return to Old Trafford seems to be a possibility for Ronaldo, who responded badly to Real getting rid of teammate Angel Di Maria towards the end of the summer transfer window.

The Express suggest that Man Utd have set aside up to £60 million in order to bring Ronaldo back to the club where he first made his name, and with the Ballon d’Or winner a potential departure from the Santiago Bernabeu, Man Utd would seem the logical destination.

They are even reportedly willing to improve his £290,000 weekly wage.

It is now suggested that Jose Mourinho is keen to bring his former charge to Stamford Bridge, having developed a good relationship with the player while working together for the Spanish giants.

Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is also keen for him to depart the Bernabeu after falling out with the club’s hierarchy over a letter that Angel Di Maria published that criticised them.
