Liverpool Keen On £135k Wage ‘New Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ – reports

Liverpool are willing to offer Roma starlet Gianluca Scamacca a huge £135,000 annual salary to join the Anfield club in the near future.

The 15 year old has come to prominence in the last season for the Stadio Olimpico club, and has been dubbed the ‘new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ as a result.

He is considered to be one of Italy’s brightest stars, and has already represented his country at Under-17 level, showing his prodigious talent.

Brendan Rodgers has invested in youth before, and looks set to do the same again, laying out a significant salary on the young star, someone who he clearly believes can be a star of the future for the Reds.

Scamacca is already 6ft 4in, which bodes well for his ability to adapt to the English game, and has been known to bully defences that he comes up against.

He has scored 34 goals in only 30 games for Roma’s youth side, which has attracted interest from elsewhere.

PSV Eindhoven had him to their training ground, and may prove Liverpool’s greatest rivals for his signature.

Roma are set to offer him a new deal, but Scamacca’s family and representatives believe he will be able to get a better offer from abroad.

Chelsea To Make Shock £30m Bid For Man Utd Targeted Maestro – reports

Chelsea have surprisingly made a shock £30 million bid for Manchester United target Kevin Strootman in January.

The Old Trafford club have been tracking the Roma midfielder since the summer, with manager Louis van Gaal known to be a huge fan of the Dutch maestro.

Van Gaal and Strootman worked closely together while Van Gaal was in charge of the Netherlands, and Strootman’s injury shortly before the World Cup meant that the Dutch team completely altered their tactical setup.

It seemed certain that the 24 year old would, if he moved to the Premier League, join Man Utd, but it now seems as though Jose Mourinho is hopeful of beating his Premier League rivals to the punch.

As a result, the Portuguese manager has tabled a £30 million bid for the star.

This would provide Roma with a healthy profit on Strootman, who they paid £15 million for just last year.

This would be a particular bonus, given that Strootman has been injured for over six months.

Man Utd are, however, expected to top Chelsea’s offer in order to strengthen a squad that has been weakened by injury and suspensions, according to the Daily Express.

‘Lies’ Over Potential Man Utd Transfer – Agent

Inter Milan defender Nemanja Vidic’s mooted move to Manchester United has been described as “lies” by the player’s agent.

Vidic has featured incredibly infrequently since the appointment of former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini as Inter manager, leading to speculation in the English and Italian press that the player could make a return to Old Trafford.

The former captain of the Red Devils will not, however, make a move, according to his agent.

Silvano Martina said: “The boy already is training with the Red Devils (laughs).

“Not at all: they are all lies. Vidic has a three-year with Inter and will not leave Milan.”

Man Utd have suffered defensively this season, with Louis van Gaal unable to lock down a preferred unit at the back, or get his young charges performing at a consistent level.

While they have climbed to third in the table, there remain doubts about whether the side possess the defensive solidity to qualify for the Champions League.

As a result, the press suggested Vidic could return to offer a veteran head at the back, given his prior experience with the Manchester side.

However, his agent is now clear that there is no chance he will cut his three year stay at Inter short after only six months.
