Man Utd And Liverpool Face Battle In Fight For £4m Wonderkid – reports

A number of European giants are said to be looking to make a move for 19 year old Heerenveen midfielder Daley Sinkgraven in the near future, as reported by Football Oranje.

Football Oranje cites the Daily Mirror, which is reporting that the young talent, worth a supposed £4 million, has interested the likes of Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool.

They are not the only sides in for the player, however, with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona all thought to be keen on adding Sinkgraven to their squads too.

However, the favourites to sign the Under 21 international are Ajax, who are said to have been in contact with his agent.

The telling difference between a move to Ajax and the Premier League sides would be the role offered to Sinkgraven.

Man Utd and Liverpool would use him in the future, whereas Ajax would likely integrate the box to box midfielder straight into the first team.

Arsenal Willing To Part With Record Breaker As Bayern Prep £30M Move – reports

Arsenal are willing to part with their record breaking signing Mesut Ozil in January, and this has led to Bayern Munich, the German champions, lining up a £30 million bid for the player, as reported by the Daily Express.

Ozil has failed to settle entirely since making the move to Arsenal from Real Madrid.

The move was completed on deadline day in August of 2013, with Arsene Wenger belying his usual nature to spend a staggering £42.5 million on the World Cup winner.

His displays since the start of the season have been increasingly disappointing, and he has come under criticism as a result.

There were suggestions that Bayern were chasing Ozil in the summer, but a bid for him was turned down by the Gunners.

With Arsenal now thought to be willing to part with the German international midfielder, Bayern are believed to be lining up a fresh £30 million bid to bring him to the Allianz Arena.

Revealed: Van Gaal Cost Man Utd Signing Of £20m World Class Midfield Maestro

Manchester United had reportedly agreed a deal to sign Toni Kroos this summer, but the sacking of David Moyes and subsequent appointment of Louis van Gaal seemingly caused the German international to make a dramatic U-turn on his future.

The 24 year old midfield maestro had given his consent to a transfer to Old Trafford prior to this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

The sacking of David Moyes and Louis van Gaal’s appointment apparently caused the Real Madrid star to reconsider the move, as suggested by former Norway international Jan Aage Fjortoft on Twitter.

With his contract expiring at the end of the current season, Bayern Munich were forced to sell Kroos to Real for a cut-price £20 million, despite seeing their star play a key role as Germany won the World Cup.

Van Gaal has strengthened the midfield with Ander Herrera and Daley Blind, but Man Utd fans will surely be wondering what might have been.
