French Giants Line Up Move For £16m Liverpool Misfit – reports

Liverpool are going to have to deal with surprise interest from Paris Saint Germain for their striker Mario Balotelli, and might be tempted to cut the misfit striker loose, as reported by the Daily Express.

The Italian forward has struggled considerably since moving to Anfield in the summer from AC Milan for £16 million.

He has failed to score in the Premier League, and was dropped in favour of the 32 year old Rickie Lambert earlier this season.

As a result, several clubs are considering a move to end his Liverpool nightmare.

Yesterday, there were suggestions that Greek side Olympiacos could make a move for him.

Now PSG have trained their eyes on the Italian international, with the idea of making a marquee signing to offset any disappointment their fans might feel at the possible departures of Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

If PSG can move them on, a move could come to fruition according to reports, as it would no longer be an issue for Financial Fair Play.
