Arsenal Chase Swoop For £75m Liverpool Hero – reports

Arsenal are thought to be eyeing a possible move for Barcelona forward Luis Suarez, with the Uruguayan hitman facing an uncertain future at the Catalan club, as reported by the Daily Star.

The 27 year old striker left Liverpool in the summer to join the Nou Camp side, who paid a huge £75 million to bring him in.

However, he has not been a success at the gigantic club, and there are doubts about whether he will stay with them in the long term.

Andoni Zubizarreta, Barca’s sporting director and in part the man responsible for the signing of Suarez in the summer, was sacked this week, and his assistant Carles Puyol, Barca legend, resigned from his position.

Suarez has scored only three goals this season, in contrast to his sensational form for Liverpool last season.

Arsenal were keen on signing him last summer, and are apparently keeping abreast of his situation at the Catalan club.

Barca’s willingness to sell could change after the president Josep Maria Bartomeu announced he was set to call presidential elections soon.

  1. If I was Liverpool I would contact Barcelona and give them their money back and we take Suarez back. He knows the club and played the best football of his career with us.

Sell Ballotelli, Borini and other players that we can to raise around £30m. Get a keeper in, there are a few £3m options apparently out there.

Our only chance of getting top 4 then we start again.
