Man Utd Handed Huge Injury Boost Ahead Of Southampton Clash

Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their clash against Premier League surprise package Southampton, as reported by The Guardian.

Luke Shaw, who was withdrawn early in the clash against Yeovil Town in the third round of the FA Cup, is now expected to be available for the game that could go a long way to deciding the Champions League places at the end of the season.

Shaw is now thought to have suffered only a minor knock in the game, which Man Utd won 2-0.

Rafael da Silva was also injured in the game, although he may be out for longer.

Shaw has suffered previous injuries since joining Man Utd during the summer from the Saints.

He had a knock in pre season that caused fitness issues.

Shaw was also out for over a month during the campaign due to an ankle problem, only returning on December 28th during the game against Tottenham Hotspur.
