€22m Chelsea Dynamo Admits He’s Flattered By Real Madrid Link

Chelsea midfielder Ramires has admitted that he is flattered by stories linking him to both Juventus and Real Madrid, as reported by the Daily Express.

However, he has also said that he is not even thinking about a January transfer away from Stamford Bridge, and is instead focused on returning to the first team for the Blues.

Ramires has been on the fringes of the side since the addition of Nemanja Matic last January, and the signing of Cesc Fabregas in the summer has exacerbated the situation, meaning there is no obvious place for him in the starting line up.

As a result, his future at the club has been put into doubt.

The likes of Real Madrid and Juventus have both been linked with moves for him, and Ramires is flattered to be mentioned as a possible target.

He said: “Juventus and Real Madrid are two of the biggest teams in the world.

“I’m flattered that my name has been linked to them, but I know nothing of any negotiations.

“I’m just thinking about Chelsea and doing my job here.”

Ramires has spent a spell out injured, however, and made his return to the team during the 5-3 loss against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
