Arsenal are set to make a staggering £64 million bid for Real Madrid midfielder Isco in the summer, as reported by the Daily Express.
The Spain international is reportedly very keen on a switch to the Emirates Stadium next summer, despite potential competition from Premier League rivals and current champions Manchester City.
Should Real sanction the sale of Isco, it could hinder Manchester United in their attempts to push through a move for Real star Gareth Bale, who has recently expressed his doubts about a move back to the Premier League.
Isco is considered to be one of the more talented playmakers in world football today, but has found his opportunities limited at Real since moving there from Malaga last season.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Bale are undoubtedly ahead of him in the pecking order, both on the flanks and in the centre of midfield.
The addition of Toni Kroos this summer hasn’t helped his situation either.
