Chelsea Boss Demands £19.7m Ace In January – reports

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has demanded that club owner Roman Abramovich signs him Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus in January.

The Blues have therefore reportedly made the German international their number one target going into the winter transfer window.

Reus could be available for a fee well below his true value in the January window.

He has a release clause written into his contract which activates at the end of the season.

That clause will allow Reus to leave Dortmund for only £19.7 million, which is far less than he would go for on the open market.

If Dortmund want to extract maximum value for him, they will have to let him go in January.

Reports in France from Le 10 Sport are now suggesting that Mourinho has demanded his signature, telling Abramovich that he needs him as he plots a sustained title push.

With Dortmund facing relegation, a challenge for the crown would understandably appeal to Reus.
