Man Utd In Shock January Move To Bring Former Hero Back To Club – reports

Manchester United are set to make a stunning swoop for former club captain Nemanja Vidic, with the Old Trafford side planning to bring Vidic’s Inter Milan nightmare to an end.

While Vidic’s signing was heavily lauded by the Inter hierarchy at the time, he has struggled since his move in the summer.

As a result, former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, who was recently reappointed as boss, has put Vidic onto the transfer list heading into the January transfer window.

Louis van Gaal, who never got an opportunity to work with the Serbian international prior to his departure, is now looking to bring him back on a free transfer.

Mistakes have been Vidic’s downfall at Inter.

The other issue is his significant £50,000 a week wage, which Inter will happily see cut in a free transfer, given their efforts to comply with Financial Fair Play.

As a result, Man Utd could snap him up for free in January, as reported by the Daily Star.
