Leeds Enter Talks To Sign €4m Midfield Ace – reports

Leeds United have entered talks to sign Inter Milan midfielder Rene Krhin.

The 24 year old is available to sign from the Italian Giants in the January transfer window, but they are not particularly keen to see him depart on loan in the near future.

They instead would like to sell him for around €4 million, despite the fact that they have rarely played him since signing him from Maribor in 2007. Maribor are former Leeds United manager Darko Milanic’s former side.

Therefore, Leeds might struggle to capture him, according to Simon Austin, who regularly reports on the club for The Sun and other newspapers, and is known to have a good relationship with owner Massimo Cellino.

This is as a result of the transfer embargo levelled at the club by the Football League.

While they are able to sign players, there are limitations on paying transfer and loan fees.

Leeds are also negotiating to sign Leonardo Pavoletti from Sassuolo.
