Leeds Utd Confirmed XI: ‘Warrior’ Returns To Side And Adryan Misses Out

Leeds United have confirmed their starting eleven for the game against Wigan Athletic in the Championship today, which is set to kick off at 3pm at Elland Road.

Neil Redfearn has turned to Guiseppe Bellusci in an attempt to improve his defensive options, with he Italian defender finally available to the first team after an extended lay off.

The last game that Bellusci was available for was the game against Derby County, when Leeds beat the then league leaders 2-0 at home.

Since then, the FA have confirmed that he will face a charge for alleged racist abuse against Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome.

That was one of Leeds’ best displays since the start of the season, and helped justify Massimo Cellino’s decision to appoint Redfearn as Leeds boss on a permanent basis.

Since then, displays for the Whites have been up and down, but last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest was a decent result for the Elland Road side.

The line up is as follows:

@LUFC: Team news vs Wigan: Silvestri, Byram, Bellusci, Cooper, Warnock, Tonge, Bianchi, Mowatt, Cook, Antenucci, Sharp. #lufc
