Inter Milan loanee Yann M’Vila is back on Arsenal’s radar after the Italian giants moved to sign Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva on loan for the rest of the season.
This has paved the way for the Gunners to bring the talented defensive midfielder to the Premier League.
A move for M’Vila would come as a significant boost to Arsenal, who have a serious need for a new defensive midfielder at the club, with the expectation that the Gunners will undoubtedly sign one when the winter transfer window rolls around.
M’Vila could therefore be available if Inter can bring Lucas into the club.
He is on loan from Rubin Kazan, and his significant wages would likely impact on Inter’s ability to comply with Financial Fair Play.
The former Rennes man, who cost Rubin €12 million in 2013, is a long term favourite of Arsene Wenger’s.
Should he miss out on preferred targets like Morgan Schneiderlin, he could choose to move for M’Vila on a cut price deal.
